Hello everyone! Wow, it has been a while since I have updated you all on what as been going on with Empress World Books! Lets just say....A LOT!!!! It has been a VERY busy, VERY fun couple of months! I first want to say THANK YOU to all of you have been supporting me throughout this journey by purchasing my book and referring friends. It is a blessing to have so much support!

Lets bring you all up to speed, shall we? In the past couple of months, I have had the privilege of visiting different schools and sharing my dream with the students.

This is the illustration a lucky and EXCITED father and daughter won at the event!  My illustrator and good friend Alfred Alejandro drew this DURING the assembly and we raffled it off at the end!!!!

February 24th- I was asked to read at Centerville Elementary School's 1st grade classes!

On February 27th I was invited to Birdneck Elementary School to read to Mrs. V's 2nd grade class!

March 2nd-  I was invited to do an assembly for grades K-2 at Merrimack Elemetary School in Hampton, VA

This was a cafeteria FULL of children! :)

On Wed. March 7th- I was invited to Deer Park Elementary After School Program in Newport News, VA!

On Friday, March 23rd- I was invited BACK to Sherwood Forest Elementary School in Norfolk, VA and did an assembly for Pre-K through 2nd grade!
